Curryville Man Clarence Rousan Killed in Collision on Business Highway 54
Pike County, Missouri (January 27, 2018) – A driver was killed and a resident hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a home in Pike County Thursday evening, Missouri State Patrol said.
The accident occurred at around 6 p.m. Thursday, January 25, on Business Highway 54 in Pike County.
The State Highway Patrol reported that 53-year-old Clarence Rousan, of Curryville, was driving a car westbound on Business Highway 54 when he went off the left side of the road, struck a stop sign and crashed into a home.
Rousan died as a result of the crash and a resident inside the home at the time of the accident, 38-year-old Gary Rankes, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, the report said.
Rousan was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, the state patrol said.
