Christopher Hardy and Yu-Shae Brooks Hospitalized after 2-Car Crash on Route A in St. Charles County
St. Charles County, Missouri (December 7, 2017) – Two people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash in St. Charles, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 8:00 a.m. on Route A at Josephville Road and involved a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina, driven by Christopher S. Hardy, 19, of O’Fallon, and a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Yu-Shae Brooks, 26, of, Lake St. Louis.
Missouri State Highway Patrol said one of the drivers failed to yield to traffic on Route A and pulled out into the path of the other vehicle, and the two vehicles collided.
Hardy sustained serious injuries and Brooks sustained moderate injuries. Both patients were transported by St. Charles County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital St. Charles.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
