On Saturday, July 21, Audrey L. Ford, 36, Jessye Ford, 40, and Russell C. Watts, 29, were seriously injured in a double motorcycle accident on US 36, three miles east of Brookfield.
The accident began at approximately 10 am, when Carolyn Wolfe, 61, failed to yield and drove her vehicle, a 2008 Ford escape, into the path of Mr. Ford and Mr. Watts, who were both driving their respective Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
According to the official crash report, Mr. Ford was rushed to The University Hospital by Air Evac. Ms. Ford and Mr. Watts were taken by Lifelight to The University Hospital as well.
Ms. Wolfe was unharmed in the incident and released at the scene.
She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
