8 Injured in SUV Crash with Minibus at Franklinville and Perkins Roads in Seneca Township

Woodstock, Illinois (January 18, 2018) – Eight people were injured on Thursday morning when a minibus transporting Pioneer Center for Human Services clients collided with a vehicle in Seneca Township.

According to Woodstock Fire Department, the accident took place shortly before 8:15 a.m. Thursday, January 12, at the intersection of Franklinville and Perkins Roads.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Celetra Moses, 24, of Woodstock was driving a 2016 Ford F-450 Bus eastbound on Perkins Road when he made a stop at a traffic sign at the intersection of Franklinville Road.

She then failed to yield and entered the intersection causing a crash with a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven northbound on Franklinville Road by a 52-year-old Marengo woman.

The Woodstock Fire Department crews responded to the crash and transported eight people to Centegra hospitals with minor injuries.

Moses was cited for failure to yield at an intersection.

Police said alcohol was unlikely a factor in the crash.
