Plainfield, Illinois (December 21, 2017) – Five people were injured on Sunday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Plainfield, according to authorities.
The three-vehicle crash occurred at around 1:37 p.m. Sunday, December 17 at 119th Street and Route 30.
It is unclear how the vehicles collided at the intersection.
Five people were taken to Bolingbrook and Rush-Copley hospitals with injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening.
The crash shut down the road for hours as the scene was cleared and vehicles towed.
The Illinois State troopers are investigating the crash.
