The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a wide-ranging system of personal injury laws meant to protect parties who are injured through the negligent actions of another person. Here, both parties could be held liable for the injuries of the passenger depending on a determination of fault. The passenger will be entitled to payment for any lost wages and any medical bills incurred as a result of the accident that are not a result of her own negligence.
