Recovered for our client who was rear-ended on 1-24-18 in Henry County Missouri. Client was initially diagnosed with only a head injury and sprained back in the emergency room. Several months after the accident a herniated disc was diagnosed that required low back surgery. After several month of negotiating Travelers insurance agree to pay $590,000 which was $200,000 above their initial offer. Policy limits judgment was entered in favor of our client after binding mediation. Client was seriously injured in an 8-9-17 trucking accident in Effingham County, Illinois. The parties could not reach a settlement at mediation, so a binding mediation agreement was entered into allowing the mediating judge to enter a final judgment. When the judgment was entered in favor of our client the insurance carriers were forced to pay the policy limits. This was one of the largest settlements ever reported in Effingham County.

combined policy limit settlement reached on October 20, 2021 for a married couple injured in a rear end collision in Camden County MO. Our client’s were parked on the shoulder of US 54 when a careless driver traveled off the roadway striking their vehicle. Both clients were taken by ambulance to the ER with back & neck injuries and received several months of pain management with surgical recommendations. The at fault driver had 25/50 minimum coverage but we were able to recover an additional $250,000 in underinsured motorist coverage + $10,000 in Med Pay.
