Woman Killed in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on I-670 in Kansas City
Kansas City, Missouri (December 22, 2017) – A pedestrian was on Saturday night killed in a hit-and-run crash in the West Bottoms neighborhood, according to Kansas City Police Department.
The crash happened shortly before midnight on Saturday, December 16 on Interstate 670 at Genessee Street.
Police said the woman was in the center lane of the interstate when she was hit by an eastbound vehicle. It’s unclear whether the woman was attempting to cross the road or was standing when she was struck.
The vehicle failed to stop after the crash.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
