One Killed in St. Louis Car Crash with Tractor Trailer on Riverview Drive
St. Louis, Missouri (December 29, 2017) – A collision involving a tractor-trailer killed a car driver early Thursday morning in North St. Louis, according to a police report.
The crash took place at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, December 28, on Riverview Drive near Spring Garden.
Police said a woman was driving a black Chevy Impala at a high rate of speed southbound on Riverview Drive when she lost control on the icy roadway and crashed into a tractor-trailer.
The woman was extricated from her vehicle and later pronounced deceased.
A 58-year-old man who was driving the tractor was unhurt.
Details on the identity of the victim were not released.
