Woman Hospitalized in Rear-End Crash at Fourth and Pawnee Streets

Leavenworth, Missouri (December 14, 2017) – According to Leavenworth Police Department, a female driver was hospitalized following a rear-end collision Tuesday morning in Leavenworth.

The incident happened at about 11:53 a.m. Tuesday, December 12 at Fourth Street and Pawnee Street.

As per the report log, a 2007 Mercury Montego, driven by a 19-year-old Boonville woman, was headed north on Fourth Street when it slowed down to turn west onto Pawnee Street and was rear-ended by a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze driven by an 18-year-old Kansas City woman.

The Cruze driver complained of shoulder pain after the incident and was taken to a hospital.

The Cruze driver was cited for reportedly following too close the Montego.
