St. Joseph, Illinois (January 6, 2018) – A collision involving two vehicles in St. Joseph Township, Champaign County on Friday claimed a life of a 50-year-old man, as per a police dispatch.
The deadly crash happened on Friday, January 5, at the intersection of County Road 1900 E. and County Road 1250 N in St. Joseph Township.
Authorities stated that William S. Moser, 50, was operating a car on 1900 East when he collided with another vehicle at the intersection of County Road 1900 E. and County Road 1250 N. in St. Joseph Township.
According to a police report, Moser was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead Friday evening.
Police said an autopsy to determine Moser’s death was set on Friday.
The deadly incident remained under an investigation by the Champaign County Coroner’s Office and the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.
