William J. Arnett, Destiny Grey, Alex Hammond, and Ashley Rose all seriously injured in McDonald County car accident

On Monday, May 28,  four area residents, William J. Arnett, Destiny Gray, Alex Hammond, and Ashley Rose, were badly hurt in a single-car accident on Cyclone road 7 miles east of Pineville. The accident began at approximately 5 pm when a pickup truck operated by Ms. Gray, 18, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, traveled off of Cyclone road, flipped on it’s side, and ejected several passengers. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Mr. Arnett, 38, of Pineville, and Ms. Rose, 20, also of Pineville, were the most seriously injured, resulting in their transportation to Freeman West Hospital by AirMed. The driver, Ms. Gray, was also injured, as was Mr. Hammond, 25, Pineville. None of the parties were wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident.

A traffic accident can be a painful and deeply traumatic experience. We at the law offices of Kevin J. Roach wish all parties a quick and thorough recovery.

The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a robust system of personal injury law meant to protect persons who have been injured through the negligence of another. Here, Ms. Gray was likely at fault though any recovery sought may be effected by the injured parties own negligent acts (i.e. not wearing a seatbelt). Those injured will be entitled to payment for any lost wages, pain and suffering, damaged property, and medical bills incurred as a result of the accident.
