Victor Mills Injured in Vehicle-Pedestrian Crash on Route E in Wright County
Wright County, Missouri (January 5, 2018) – A 72-year-old man was rushed to hospital on Thursday evening after being knocked down by a vehicle in Wright County, according to MSHP.
The accident involving two vehicles and a pedestrian occurred at around 5:40 p.m. Thursday, January 4, on Route E approximately seven miles east of Hartville.
According to the report, 70-year-old Antonios I. Serghides of Harville was driving a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser southbound on Route E when he crashed into the back of a 2001 Buick Park Avenue that was stopped in the southbound lane.
The impact caused the Buick to strike a pedestrian who was at the front of the vehicle.
The pedestrian, identified as 72-year-old Victor L. Mills of Harville, was flown to Mercy Hospital, Springfield with serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene with minor damage.
