Truck Driver Killed in Fiery Crash on Interstate 44 in Crawford County
Crawford County, Missouri (December 19, 2017) – A truck driver died in a fiery crash involving two trucks early Tuesday morning in Crawford County, right outside Bourbon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol
The fiery crash transpired at about 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 12 on Interstate 44.
Police officers said that Miles Raeford, of Mesquite Texas, had slowed his truck in the interstate’s eastbound lane when a Freightliner struck the vehicle from behind and then caught fire.
The driver of the Freightliner was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
