The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a wide-ranging system of personal injury laws meant to protect parties who are hurt through the negligent actions of another person. Here, though the accident may have been caused by one driver, the degree of fault and eventual recovery may be lessened by the other driver’s own negligence. The second driver will be entitled to payment for lost wages, pain and suffering, damaged property, and any medical bills incurred as a result of the accident.
