Odin Teen Injured in Marion County Crash at Wortby and Pine Streets
Odin, Illinois (February 16, 2018) – According to a local news source, 17-year-old Odin resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Odin.
The crash took place at about 3:31 p.m. February 15, on Wortby and Pine Streets.
According to state police, Paula Isaiah, 58, of Odin, was driving eastbound on Wortby and failed to stop at the intersection of Pine Street and struck the driver’s side of a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Odin resident.
The impact caused the juvenile’s car to spin off the roadway, coming to rest at a private yard while Isaiah’s vehicle continued east and stopped in the roadway.
The victim was transported to Salem Township Hospital with unspecified of injuries. Two passengers in the victim’s car were not injured
The incident remained under investigation.
