Newton County, Missouri (February 23, 2018) – According to a local news source, a woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening in Newton County.

As per the report, 22-year-old Randy J. Munson of Miami was driving a pickup truck when he drifted into the opposite lanes and collided with a vehicle driven by 56-year-old Susan K. Haase, of Joplin.

Haase sustained minor injuries and was transported to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin by a private vehicle.

Munson’s condition was not revealed.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
