Susan Craig and James Craig Hospitalized after Crash on I-70 in Boone County

Boone County, Missouri (February 14, 2018) – Two Fulton residents were injured when their vehicle collided with a semi-truck on Wednesday afternoon in Boone County, according to state troopers.

The crash happened on Interstate 70 westbound at Mile Marker 134.2 around 12:25 p.m.

Michael J. Peace, 39, of Cedartown, was driving a 2016 International Prostar westbound on I-70 when he tried to merge onto the right lane and hit a 2009 Toyota Camry, driven by James D. Craig, 71, of Fulton.

Craig sustained minor injuries. His passenger, Susan L. Craig, 67, of Fulton, suffered moderate injuries. They were both taken to University Hospital.

Peace was unhurt in the crash.

The Toyota was totaled.
