Stephen Magee Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Hill Top Lane in Cape Girardeau County

Cape Girardeau County, Missouri (February 22, 2018) – A pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Cape Girardeau County on Wednesday evening.

According to a report by the MSHP, the crash took place on Hill Top Lane, just north of Cape Girardeau at around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21.

Stephen G. Magee, 28, of Cape Girardeau, was walking in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Hill Top Lane. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene after the accident.

Magee was transported by ambulance to Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau with moderate injuries.

Troopers are looking for the driver responsible for the crash.
