Shannon McGoon Injured in St. Charles County Rear-End Crash on Highway 79

St. Charles County, Missouri (January 11, 2018) – An O’Fallon woman suffered injuries on Wednesday afternoon when her vehicle was rear-ended at a light stop in St. Charles County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 10 on Highway 79 at T.R. Hughes Boulevard.

Troopers said a 2012 Jeep Liberty driven by Shannon E. McGoon, 26, of O’Fallon was stopped facing south on Highway 79 at the intersection when it was rear-ended by a 2000 Chevrolet Lumina driven by Jennifer M. Luebbert, 19, of Troy.

McGoon sustained minor injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis.

No one else was injured in the crash.
