On Tuesday, May 22, Shane A. Adams of Eagle Rock was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident 7 miles south of Cassville on Missouri Highway 86. The accident began at approximately 3:15 pm when a car operated by Maria Ramirez, 54, also of Eagle Rock, slowed to execute a turn and Mr. Adams struck her rear bumper. He was thrown from his motorcycle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Mr. Adam’s injuries were diagnosed as serious at the scene and he had to be rushed by EMS to Mercy Hospital, where he is recovering under close observation.
