St. Charles County, Missouri (March 1, 2018) – Several people were injured in a chain-reaction collision early Thursday morning in St. Charles County, according to police.
The incident occurred at around 8 a.m. Thursday, March 1, near the 213-mile marker in St. Charles County, between the Route A and Lake Saint Louis Boulevard exits.
According to the police, vehicles were stopped in the area following an earlier minor crash when one driver failed to slow down causing a chain-reaction collision involving at least five vehicles.
Many people sustained mild to moderate injuries with at least one person being taken to a hospital for treatment, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol.
