Savannah Largen Injured in 2-Vehicle Wreck on Quail Road in Newton

Newton County, Missouri (February 24, 2018) – A Stark City woman was hospitalized after a Friday morning car accident in Newton County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on Quail Road approximately 5 miles northeast of Diamond at around 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 23.

Troopers said Gregory A. Bein, 46, of Diamond, was driving a 2009 Ford F-150 when he failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection on Quail Road and crashed into a 2013 Nissan Rogue, driven by Savannah D. Largen, 27, of Starke City.

Largen was wearing a safety belt and was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

Bein was unhurt and troopers said he had his seatbelt on at the time of the crash.

The Ford was totaled while the Nissan was towed from the scene with extensive damage.
