Samantha E. Crow and Amber Hirsch hurt in accident near Pike County road

On Saturday, May 26, at approximately 1 pm Samantha E. Crow and Amber Hirsch were both injured in a multi-car accident on US 54 east of Pike County road. The accident began when Ms. Hirsch, 30, of Bowling Green, failed to notice Ms. Crow stopped in the road. Ms. Hirsch did not stop and struck Ms. Crow, 25, of Louisiana, MO, in the rear. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, both parties were injured, with Ms. Crow’s injuries designated as “serious.” She was transported to Mercy Hospital by AirMed. Ms. Hirsch was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital and later released. Both parties were wearing their safety belts at the time of the accident.
