St. Louis County, Missouri (January 25, 2018) – A 35-year-old Ballwin man was killed in a deadly crash involving multiple vehicles on Tuesday morning in St. Louis County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Ryan C. Stoll died in the crash that happened at around 8:13 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, on Interstate 64 east of Madison Road.

Troopers said Robert W. Coker, 41 of Troy was driving a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia eastbound on I-64 when he crashed into the rear of a 2004 Honda Accord driven by Stoll.

The impact caused Stoll’s vehicle to strike the back of a 2012 Dodge Avenger driven by Jasmine J. Johnson, 25, of St. Louis. Johnson, in turn, rear-ended a 2013 Ford Mustang being driven by Zachary M. Schoessel, 16, of Chesterfield.

A 2006 Acura MDX driven by Olivia E. Neidenbach, 17, of Chesterfield, was traveling in the third lane when she attempted to drift sideways to avoid the Freightliner and ended up striking a 2006 Hyundai Azera driven by Vikas Dixit, 40, of Ballwin.

Stoll was pronounced dead at the scene.

Schoessel, Johnson and her passenger were all treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

All the six vehicles were towed from the scene by Mcnamara’s Towing.
