Ronald Gisi and Clarence Freeman Seriously Hurt in Two-Vehicle Crash on MO-25 near Dexter

Dexter, Missouri (January 9, 2017) –  Two drivers were seriously injured Monday night following a two-vehicle crash in Stoddard County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash took place at about 9:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8 on MO-25 two miles south of Dexter, according to the MSHP report.

According to The Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2016 Ram 1500 pickup, driven by 63-year-old Clarence E. Freeman, 63, of Dexter, crossed over the center line and collided head-on with a 2005 GMC Envoy, driven by Ronald W. Gisi, 71, of Bloomfield.

Both Gisi and Freeman sustained serious injuries and were transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

No additional details were provided.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
