Butler County, Missouri (March 7, 2018) – Two drivers were hurt when their vehicles collided at an intersection in Butler County on Wednesday morning, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The incident happened at around 10:10 a.m. on U.S. 67 approximately one mile north of Poplar Bluff.

Troopers said Corey R. Whitt, 23, of Poplar Bluff failed to yield at the intersection and his 2003 Dodge was struck by a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Robert S. Dacus, 62, of Jonesboro, Ar.

Both Whitt and Dacus were transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Both vehicles sustained total damage.
