Two Injured in MO-94 Three-Vehicle Chain-Reaction Crash in St. Charles County
Robert Brummett and Hannah McKenzie Injured in St. Charles County 3-Vehicle Crash on MO-94
St. Charles County, Missouri (January 3, 2018) – Two people sustained injuries in a chain-reaction accident on Tuesday morning in St. Charles County.
The three-vehicle crash took place at around 9:27 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, on Missouri 94 east of Siedentop Road, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2007 Saturn Aura and a 2006 Kia Spectra were both stopped at a red light on westbound MO-94 when the driver of a 2015 Nissan Murano, failed to see the vehicles and crashed into the back of the Aura. The impact caused the Aura to strike the back of the Kia.
Troopers said the driver of the Nissan, 66-year-old Robert E. Brummett of St. Peters, was not wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital St. Peters by private transport with minor injuries.
The driver of the Aura, 20-year-old Hannah M. McKenzie of O’Fallon, was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by St. Charles County ambulance to West Hospital with minor injuries.
46-year-old Robin F. Bowman of St. Peters was behind the wheels of the Kia and was not hurt in the crash.
The three vehicles were towed from the scene.
