Chariton County, Missouri (February 6, 2018) – Three people were injured in a crash between two vehicles on Monday afternoon in Chariton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the incident happened on Missouri 11, just north of Route C on Monday, February 5.

A 2005 Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on Missouri 11 when the driver, Robert M. Bolzendahl, 88, of Triplett, lost control on the icy roadway and swerved into the southbound side.

The Ford collided with a 2016 Dodge Caravan, and both vehicles traveled off the west side of the roadway.

The Dodge driver, Jessica Y. Foster, 33, of Marceline, sustained moderate injuries. Her passenger, Kadie F. Foster, 5, suffered minor injuries. They were both transported to Pershing Memorial Hospital.

Bolzendahl was also taken to Pershing Memorial with minor injuries.

Troopers said the three were wearing their seatbelts.
