Richard Harding Injured in Rear-End Crash on Hwy 79 in Lincoln County

Lincoln County, Missouri (January 19, 2018) – An Elsberry driver was injured when his vehicle crashed into the back of another car in Lincoln County on Thursday morning.

The collision happened at around 7:46 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, on Highway 79 at Forrest Keeling Lane.

According to MSHP, a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis was being driven by 60-year-old Lonnie B. Dietz of Elsberry when he made a stop in traffic for a stopped school bus.

A 2000 Ford Explorer traveling behind Dietz crashed into the back of his vehicle.

The driver of the Ford, Richard L. Harding, 32, also of Elsberry, was transported by the Lincoln County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph West with moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

No other injuries were reported.
