Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Kansas City Crash with Vehicle on Gillham Road
Kansas City, Missouri (December 19, 2017) – A Raymore man was on Saturday night ejected from his motorcycle and killed after colliding with a vehicle on Gillham Road in Kansas City.
The Kansas City Police Department reported that the crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, December 16, on Gillham Road near 33rd Street.
Troopers said a man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Gillham Road when he lost control, veered into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a Ford Focus.
After the crash, the motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and fell onto the road.
The victim, a Raymore resident, was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.
The driver of the Ford was unhurt in the crash.
No further details on the accident were released.
