On Wednesday, September 12, 63-year old Randy Decker and 26-year old Jordan Roubidoux were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on MO-30 in St. Louis county.
The accident occurred at approximately 4 AM when Ms. Roubidoux, a resident of St. Louis, failed to yield to Mr. Decker as he attempted to turn from I-270 onto MO-30, causing the two parties to collide. Ms. Roubidoux’s vehicle then left the roadway, while Mr. Decker’s car was forcefully flipped end-over-end.
According to the official crash report, both parties suffered severe, life-threatening, injury and had to be rushed by first responders to area hospitals for life-saving medical intervention.
Ms. Roubidoux was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the incident, and authorities are investigating whether or not this fact may have played a role in the extent of her injuries.
All of the vehicles suffered significant damage in the incident, and no other drivers or occupants were involved.
