Peyton Ivie Injured in Cape Girardeau Head-On Crash on Highway AB
Cape Girardeau County, Missouri (January 11, 2018) – A 23-year-old woman was injured in a head-on collision on Wednesday morning in Cape Girardeau, according to MSHP.
The accident happened at around 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, on Highway AB, just south of Cape Girardeau.
Troopers said Peyton E. Ivie, 23, of East Prairie was driving a 2014 Jeep Latitude eastbound on Highway AB when she crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2007 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Allen Wilson, 52, of Puxico.
Ivie sustained moderate injuries and was transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Wilson was not hurt in the crash.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
