Ballwin, Missouri (February 21, 2018) — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Tuesday, February 20, in Ballwin, the police said.
The fatal accident occurred at an unspecified time in the night in suburban St. Louis.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian was transported to a hospital for treatment after being struck by the vehicle.
Sadly, the patient succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
