On April 23rd at approximately 5:50 am, Nicole Raubach, 24, of Alton, IL, Michael Lesicko, 22, of St. Louis, MO, and Anthony Bauman, 40, of Pevely, MO, were injured following an accident that occurred on northbound I-270. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ms. Raubach and Mr. Lesicko’s vehicles had already been involved in an accident when a third car struck both of their vehicles. Shortly thereafter, the third vehicle was also struck which in turn caused the vehicle following it to also collide with another car travelling along I-270. Eight vehicles total were involved. Ms. Raubach and Mr. Lesicko sustained serious injuries, with Mr. Bauman sustaining only minor cuts and abrasions. All injured parties were transported via EMS to nearby hospitals for treatment.
