Nichole Newton Injured in Polk County 2-Car Crash on MO-123
Polk County, Missouri (February 3, 2018) – A woman was hurt when she crashed into a vehicle that turned in front of her on Thursday morning in Polk County.
According to State Troopers, the accident happened at around 8:25 a.m. Thursday, February 1, at the intersection of Missouri 123 and Tilden Street in Humansville.
The crash occurred when 26-year-old Austin L. Nelson of Dunegan, was driving a 1998 Nissan Frontier northbound on MO-123 and turned left at Tilden Street in front of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, driven southbound by 40-year-old Nichole L. Newton.
Newton, a Weaubleau woman, was wearing a safety belt and suffered minor injuries.
Nelson was unhurt in the crash, and it’s unknown whether he was wearing a safety belt.
Both vehicles were driven from the scene with minor and moderate damage.
