Nicholas Draskovich Injured in 2-Vehicle Wreck on I-49 in near Neosho

Newton County, Missouri (February 7, 2018) – An Arkansas man was injured in a crash involving two vehicles on Sunday afternoon in Newton County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on Interstate 49 just south of Neosho at around 3:20 p.m. Sunday, February 4.

Patrol troopers said 58-year-old Nicholas J. Draskovich of Fayetteville, Arkansas, was driving a 2005 Jeep Renegade northbound on Interstate 49 when he lost control and slammed into the back of unit towed by a 2012 Kenworth.

Draskovich sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken Freeman Hospital in Neosho.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
