Randolph County, Missouri (February 5, 2018) – A man was hurt when he crashed into a disabled vehicle on a highway in Randolph County Sunday afternoon, MSHP reported.

The accident took place at around 1:37 p.m. Sunday, February 4 on U.S.  Highway 63, approximately two miles north of Clark.

Troopers said 19-year-old Nathaniel L. Lynne of Kirksville was the driver of a 2004 Nissan Maxima traveling northbound on U.S. 63 when he began to slide and slammed into the rear of a disabled 2010 Dodge Caliber, parked facing northbound.

Lynne suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Moberly Regional Hospital.

There was no one in the disabled vehicle at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene with extensive damage.
