Morgan Spears Injured in Rear-End Collision on I-70 in St. Charles County

St. Charles County, Missouri (January 7, 2018) – A 26-year-old woman was injured when she crashed her vehicle into the back of a disabled vehicle on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County Sunday morning.

MSHP reported that the accident occurred at around 7:45 a.m. on I-70, east of Route K.

A Nissan Maxima traveling westbound on I-70 experienced a problem and was stopped in one of the lanes when a 2012 Hyundai Elantra crashed into the back of the disabled vehicle.

The disabled vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Hyundai, identified as 26-year-old Morgan J. Spears of St. Louis, suffered minor injuries and was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Lake in St. Louis.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by budget towing.
