Michaela Mooneyham Injured in Christian County Vehicle Collision on U.S. 160

Christian County, Missouri (January 8, 2018) – A car crash in Christian County left a 19-year-old woman with injuries on Sunday evening, according to authorities.

Michaela Mooneyham, 19, of Nixa sustained injuries in the collision that happened at around 5:50 p.m. Sunday, January 7, on U.S. 160 approximately a mile north of Nixa.

Police said Mooneyham was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu northbound on U.S. 160 when she lost control and collided with a southbound 2008 Ford Edge, driven by Glenn E. Weedin, 50, of Springfield.

Mooneyham was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Mooneyham’s Malibu sustained total damage and was towed from the scene.

Weedin drove her vehicle from the scene with minor damage.
