Belleville Man Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on I-70 in St. Charles County

St. Charles County, Missouri (January 7, 2018) – A Belleville man was sent to the hospital late Saturday night following a car collision on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on I-70 east of Fair Grounds Road at around 11:50 p.m. Saturday, January 6.
Police said a 2008 Chevrolet Impala traveling eastbound on I-70 crashed into the back of a 1996 GMC Sonoma that was stopped in one of the lanes due to an earlier crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Michael A. Hudson, 36, of Belleville, was transported by the St. Charles County ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Sonoma, Kenneth J. Massey, 34, of St. Louis, was not injured.
Police said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
