On May 4th at approximately 12:41 pm, Mendy Robins, 38, Perryville, MO, was injured following an accident that occurred on Highway 77 one mile south of Benton. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Bonnie Hulshof, 52, of Benton, MO, struck the rear of Ms. Robins’ vehicle. This caused Ms. Robins to strike the rear of a vehicle driven by Fred Smith, 67, of Benton, MO. Only Ms. Robins sustained injuries following the accident and the injuries she received were Moderate. Mr. Robins was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital to be treated.
