Melissa German, 50, Nathan Brown, 21, Terry Kemp, 45, Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on US 54 near Louisiana In Pike County
Louisiana, Missouri, (December 29, 2017) – According to a Missouri State Patrol report, three people were hospitalized in a collision involving two vehicles Thursday afternoon near Louisiana in Pike County.
The accident took place at around 1:10 p.m. Thursday, December 28, on the US. 54 at Route NN, near Louisiana.
Authorities said 16-year-old Gwendolyn E. Reid, of Bowling Green, was operating a 2003 Jeep Cherokee west on U.S. 54 when Reid turned left onto Route NN and failed to yield for a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 which were both driven eastbound. The two eastbound vehicles then collided with Reid’s car.
The Silverado was driven by 50-year-old Melissa J. German, of Lafayette, Indiana and the driver of the S-10 was 21-year-old Nathan J. Brown, Bowling Green, police said
According to a police report, German, Brown and, Terry R. Kemp, 45, of Lafayette, Indiana, a passenger in one of the cars, both suffered minor injuries and were transported by an ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Reid was not injured in the crash, police said.
