Matthew Lowes Injured in Rear-End Crash on Route BB in Franklin County

Franklin County, Missouri (January 6, 2018) – Two cars were involved in a Friday night collision that left one person injured in Franklin County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. Friday, January 5, on Route BB at Route A.

Troopers said Mathew J. Lowes, 17, of Washington, Mo, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze northbound on Route BB when he failed to stop in time and crashed into the back of a 2005 Pontiac GTO at the intersection of Route A.

Lowes suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington.

The driver of the Pontiac, Lawson P. Davis, 18, of St. Clair, was no hurt.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene with extensive damage.
