Warren County, Missouri (January 14, 2018) – A 26-year-old Virginia woman was injured early Sunday morning when her vehicle was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Warren County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 12:44 a.m. on Interstate 70 at Mile Marker 200.4.

The report stated that Mary E. Hazard, 26, of Burke, Vi., was driving a 2006 Honda Element in the right lane of westbound I-70 when she spotted people standing at the right side of the roadway. She drifted into the left lane and struck a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, which rolled over in the middle of the lane.

Hazard was transported to St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis with moderate injuries.

There was no information on the occupants of the Pontiac.

Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by S and A Towing.
