Lincoln Woman Mary Harms Killed in Benton County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 60
Benton County, Missouri (January 12, 2018) – A 56-year-old Lincoln woman was killed in a fatal two-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon in Benton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11 on US 65 north of Frisch Road.
Troopers said 56-year-old Mary J. Harms of Lincoln was driving a 2004 Chevrolet northbound on US 65 when she lost control on the icy roadway, swerved into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, driven by 22-year-old Caleb J. Reno of Warsaw.
Harms was rushed to Bothwell Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 5:25 p.m.
Reno was unhurt in the crash.
Both vehicles were totally damaged and were towed from the scene by Tollivers Tow.
