Mary Butterfield Injured in Sunrise Beach 2-Vehicle Accident on Route F

Sunrise Beach, Missouri (January 25, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning in Sunrise Beach, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, on Route F.

Troopers said 32-year-old Mary Butterfield of Sunrise Beach was the driver of a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan pulling out of a driveway along Route F when she drove into the path of a southbound Ford Ranger that was being driven by Leslie Burnett, 59, also of Sunrise Beach.

The Ford slammed into the driver’s side of the Dodge, pushing it off the side of the road.

Butterfield was transported to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.

Burnett suffered minor injuries but refused medication at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.
