Marvin Graham Seriously Hurt in Car-Truck Crash on County Road 452 in Scott County

Scott County, Missouri (February 21, 2018) – A 70-year-old man was hospitalized following a Tuesday evening car accident with a truck in Scott County, according to an MSHP report.

The wreck occurred at around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, on County Road 452.

Troopers said Marvin E. Graham, 70, of Smithland, Ky., was the driver of a stationary 2015 Buick Verano that was facing southbound on CR 452 when it was struck on its side by a northbound 2012 GMC utility truck, driven by Billy W. Shipp, 64, of Sikeston.

Graham was not wearing a safety belt and was seriously hurt in the crash. He was transported to Saint Francis Medical Center Cape Girardeau by Ems.

Shipp had his safety belt on at the time and was not injured.

Graham’s Buick was towed from the scene by D and K Wrecker Sikeston.
