Marjorie Moore Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on MO-7 in Cass County
Cass County, January (January 31, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized after an accident where her vehicle was rear-ended on Missouri 7 in Cass County Tuesday afternoon, according to State Troopers.
Marjorie Moore, 62, of Pleasant Hill was injured in the crash that occurred at around 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 30 on MO-7 at Business Route 7.
The report stated that Moore was traveling in a 1999 Dodge Intrepid heading north on Missouri 7 when she stopped to make a left turn and was struck by a 2002 Dodge Dakota that was attempting to overtake her.
Moore was treated for minor injuries at Cass Regional.
The driver of the Dakota, Richard L. Mitchell, 60, of Pleasant Hill, was unhurt.
Both drivers were wearing their safety belts.
The two vehicles were towed from the scene with moderate damage.
