Marcos Rodriguez-Reyes, 32, Darin Surridge, 35 Killed in 2-Tractor-Trailer Head-On Crash on US 400 in Kansa
Kansas City, Missouri (December 30, 2017) – Two tractor-trailer drivers were fatally injured following a head-on collision early Thursday in Severy southeast Kansa, authorities said.
The accident took place on Thursday, December 28, about 10 miles west of the small Greenwood County town of Severy.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said that Marcos Rodriguez-Reyes, 32, of Wichita, was operating a tractor that was hauling two trailers when Rodriguez-Reyes, for unknown reasons, crossed the centerline of U.S. 400 and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer driven by Darin Kyle Surridge, 35, of Parsons.
The patrol said both drivers died in the crash.
